Join us for MICDS Homecoming Weekend on September 21 – 22!

Alumni and families are invited to join the entire School community for this special weekend, which celebrates cherished traditions both old and new and offers something for all ages! It’s a perfect time to visit campus, enjoy great sporting events as the MICDS Rams take on the JBS Bombers and renew old acquaintances while making new ones. Homecoming Weekend Highlights

Friday, September 21, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Food Truck Event (NEW LOCATIONS: Founders’ Court and Lot A)

Enjoy dinner on campus before the pep rally at the Food Truck Event! A variety of food trucks featuring dinner and dessert will be available. Please bring cash for food purchases. Also please note, the MICDS food service will not grill hamburgers and hot dogs this year. View Food Truck Event Flyer.

Friday, September 21, 7:30 p.m. – Pep Rally (McDonnell Gymnasium)

The pep rally in the McDonnell Gymnasium kicks off the weekend, immediately followed by the traditional lighting of the bonfire. Bagpipers, a spectacular bonfire and cheering on your favorite Rams teams make this event fun for the entire family.

Saturday, September 22, 8:00 a.m. – MICDS-JBS Fun Run (Begins at MICDS Founders Court and ends at JBS)
The day’s festivities kick off with a 2.5 mile family-friendly walk or run from MICDS to JBS. Dress in your spirit wear and bring the entire family. A complimentary shuttle will pick up from JBS and bring participants back to MICDS. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Fun Run t-shirts are available at the event on a first come first served basis. Saturday, September 22, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – MICDS Family Carnival (The MAC) 
Calling all MICDS families! Bring your kids (of any age!) for an entertaining and free event that features games, prizes, face painters, balloon artists and unique inflatables, including an obstacle course, three-lane bungee run and a slide. Saturday, September 22, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Sporting Events (JBS and MICDS Campuses)

Throughout the weekend, athletic contests are scheduled against JBS, including the annual football rivalry at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. All varsity contests will be played at JBS and all other games will take place at MICDS. Come out and cheer on your Rams!
