Parents and Staff gathered for another Community Conversations with the topic of « Living our Mission. » The Assistant Head of School, Brian Thomas, kicked off the conversation by reading aloud the MICDS Mission Statement. The crowd then split off into different groups and further discussed the topic of the night.
The Community Conversations speaker series is a way for the MICDS community to develop skills of dialogue and cultural competency by entering into authentic conversations with others whose life experiences and perspectives are different from their own.
