The Ladue Fire Department made their annual visit to the Lower School this week to raise awareness of fire safety for Fire Prevention month. First, the firefighters performed a fire prevention skit in the gymnasium, which gave students tips on how to practice fire safety in their home and at school.
Students were then given a tour of a firetruck to get an up-close and personal look of where firefighters work day-to-day. The students listened intently as the firefighters explained what the different truck tools and gadgets did.
Thank you to the Ladue Fire Department for taking the time to teach our students the importance of fire safety!
