- MICDS Distinguished Alumni Award
The MICDS Distinguished Alumni Award, which began in 2017, is the highest and most prestigious award that the School can bestow upon its alumni. Robert L. Virgil - MI Laurel Award
The Laurel Award was given to the alumna who by her exemplary accomplishments had clearly manifested the ideals instilled in her at Mary Institute. The name came from the motto “Palman Quae Meruit Ferat,” meaning, “May she who deserves bear the laurel.” This award recognized honor and success in a field of endeavor.
