Arts Fest 2025

Due to the forecast, the location of Arts Fest has moved indoors to the MAC, South Gym, & Beasley Dining Hall. Parking is available at any open campus parking lot space.

Calling all current and newly-enrolled MICDS families, faculty, staff, and alumni—join us for our third annual MICDS Arts Fest on Thursday, April 10! We are delighted to celebrate the Arts in this popular, creative tradition. Arts Fest 2025 promises to be full of performances and activities for you and your whole Rams family to enjoy!

Two stages—one in the MAC and one in the South Gym—will feature music and theatre performances from an exciting line-up of Lower, Middle, and Upper School students. Here is the list of performances:

Parking Information
Parking is available at any open campus parking lot space. Check out our Campus Map to note parking lot options in relation to the Arts Fest Map.
Food at Arts Fest
A limited number of the following snacks will be available at no charge in the MAC:
- Flik is providing brownies, cookies, and popcorn
- Cotton Candy will be made at the Arts Boosters table
Please note that there are no picnic dinners this year.
Call for Parent/Guardian Volunteers
We need your help to create an unforgettable Arts Fest for our MICDS community on Thursday, April 10! Sign up to volunteer here! There are 45-minute shifts available, so you can still enjoy the event and volunteer. Here are some of the ways parents can help at Arts Fest 2025:
- Assist faculty at their creative booths
- Help student performers get on and off stage
- Direct parents to various performances
- Supervise student performers in the Green Room
- Support general Arts Fest needs with set-up and clean-up
Parent volunteers will check in at the Arts Boosters table in the MAC.
Arts Spirit Dress Days
Lower & Middle School:
- Musician Monday – Wear a concert shirt/band gear
- Tie Dye Tuesday
- Watercolor Wednesday – Wear your own color wash outfit
- Show your Spirit Thursday – MICDS spirit wear
- Favorite Artist Friday – Dress up as a favorite artist
Upper School:
- Musician Monday – Wear a concert shirt/band gear
- Tie Dye Tuesday
- Watercolor Wednesday – Wear your quadrant colors
- Throwback Thursday – Wear vintage/decades clothing
- Favorite Art Teacher Friday – There will be a prize for the best outfits
A Note for Lower School Families
There will be no Extended Day on Thursday, April 10. Please be sure to pick up your student(s) no later than 3:30 p.m. or join your student(s) for Arts Fest. Lower School students may not attend this event without a parent or guardian.
A Note for Middle School Families
There will be no scheduled activities, clubs, athletics, or ASAP after school on Thursday, April 10. Please be sure to pick up your student(s) no later than 3:45 p.m. or join your student(s) for Arts Fest. Middle School students may not attend this event without a parent or guardian.
