Varsity Cheerleading (Fall)

Congratulations to the MICDS Varsity Cheerleading squad on a successful “home camp” through the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) 2024 summer program on the MICDS campus! Five seniors were honored with the All-American Award: Elyse Abramov ’25, Alyssa Harris ’25, Sophia Huddleston ’25, Macy Lubak ’25, and Simra Qayyum ’25. The All-American Award allows seniors to participate in special performances across the nation and worldwide, including the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, and a New Year’s Day parade in Rome, Italy. Sophia  also received the “Pin It Forward” Award for leadership, kindness, and spirit, and Riley Crawford ’26 won the jump contest. The Varsity cheerleaders look forward to supporting the football team and encouraging school spirit all fall season long!
