Weather Updates

UPDATE January 7, 2025: Because many local roads and neighborhood streets continue to be adversely impacted by snow and ice, the MICDS campus will remain closed to students throughout today, Tuesday, January 7. All afternoon student activities have been cancelled. We are continuing to assess the feasibility of reopening campus to students on Wednesday, January 8, or at a later date. Please be advised that on whatever date MICDS reopens, the school day will begin at 10:00 a.m. to provide teachers with classroom preparation time at the start of the day. In the event that conditions warrant further schedule modifications, we will communicate them to you as quickly as we can via our usual channels, including email, text message, social media, and website banner. We are grateful as always for your partnership and understanding of our decisions in response to severe weather conditions.
