The 4th grade Class of 2020 brought their knowledge of Missouri history to the Freeman Theatre stage this week with performances of their spring play, “Missouri Legends Unplugged.” The play takes place in a history museum where famous Missourians become living storytellers for visitors. The cast of characters included such famous Missourians as Mark Twain, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Lewis & Clark, Calamity Jane and Daniel Boone. The show also featured six choreographed musical numbers.
The annual 4th grade play represents the culmination of the students’ six years of studying drama in the Lower School.
“Missouri Legends Unplugged” is an original musical written by the lower school drama department, including Lower School teachers, Kathy Hoover and Steve Hoover.
