On Tuesday, the 6th grade visited the Blues Museum and History Museum to enhance their current units in language arts and history. In language arts, they began reading the book Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, which has become a mainstay for the 6th grade curriculum in recent years. In addition, to take advantage of experiencing the Civil Rights exhibit focused on Saint Louis, 6th graders spent two and a half weeks in history studying inequality and racial discrimination from 1865-1960s.
