Upper School students who are members of the BJC Hospice club hosted a car wash on September 10 to support the Stepping Stones program, a bereavement camp for kids ages 8-13 who have lost a loved one. Emma Klahr ’17 said of the experience, “I worked at the camp as a volunteer last year and it was really nice to see the kids be encouraged to remember their family member or friend that they lost while also making new friends and just having fun. I’m really glad that the MICDS community could come together, especially in such a fun way, to support the camp which does something very unique, serving a need that not many people think about.”
