Remove Learning for Upper School Students ONLY - January 29

Missouri-American Water needs to cut water to the Upper School campus on Wednesday, January 29, to permanently repair the water main leak that caused last Friday's early dismissal. Due to this repair work, Upper School students will have a remote, virtual learning day on Wednesday. Virtual learning will be implemented for Upper School students ONLY; our Lower and Middle School buildings will not be affected, and Lower and Middle School students are therefore expected to attend classes on campus as usual. Please see email for further details.

Carnal ’15 Advances to U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships

Mary Carnal ’15 will return to the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships with two St. Louis Synergy teams this year, to compete against the best teams in the country. Mary is on the Novice team which placed fifth out of nine teams at the USFS Midwestern Sectional Championships last weekend in Kalamazoo, MI, securing a spot at Nationals in Detroit later this month. She is also a skater on the Junior team, which placed third, and will not only compete for a medal at Nationals, but also hopes to secure a spot on Team USA and compete internationally. The top five Junior teams at Nationals receive consideration from U.S. Figure Skating for funding at international assignments and the opportunity to compete among the best Junior teams in the world. It is an accomplishment and a privilege for Mary to be a part of U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships again this year, as well as represent St. Louis, the Midwest and MICDS.
