During this week’s Community Time in the Upper School, members of the Senior Leadership Group led 10th graders through a series of team-building activities called Mov’n Right Along, Blind Puzzle and Blind Polygon. Meanwhile, 9th graders were led through activities such as the Human Knot and Rope Sequence.
In each activity, students had to work together to achieve a common goal all while being handicapped in some way. In one case, students were blindfolded and had to form a specific geometrical shape with a rope. In another, they were given a puzzle and asked to piece it together – all without the use of their eyes.
It appears they have all eyes on class unity! It was a great way for the students to build community and learn collaboration techniques at this early stage of the school year.
