Members of the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association (MAGA) competed for the Mid-America Junior Cup against the Kansas City Golf Assocation (KCGA) in a series of matches on October 20 and 21. MICDS students Sohil Desai ’13 and Abby Schroeder ’16 were members of winning teams that helped MAGA secure the Cup for MAGA for the second consecutive year. MAGA is a regional golf association licensed by the United States Golf Association. Read more about the tournament here.
Abby also recently participated in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Leadership Links to raise nearly $1000 for Wings of Hope, a charitable organization based in St. Louis. She created her own campaign and raised funds via friends and family.
