Many members of the senior class at MICDS are beginning to hear back exciting news from their colleges and universities of choice via the “Early Decision” and “Early Action” programs. The Class of 2019 matriculation results are impressive thus far — 29 of those who applied via Early Decision were admitted! MICDS students have been admitted to extremely selective schools such as Harvard, University of Chicago, Northwestern, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Carnegie Mellon University, New York University, Boston College, Boston University, Washington University and more.
This is just an early start to our impressive Class of 2019 matriculation news, and there will be more good news in the months to come. Overall, 30% of the Class of 2019 already knows where they will be attending college next year.
The College Counseling team is busy supporting and assisting all students and families as they continue with this process through the end of the year. Along with their support is the insight of our MICDS alumni. Recently, college freshmen from the MICDS Class of 2018 gave current seniors advice about college.
As the college application process continues to unfold, let’s continue cheering on our seniors! Congratulations Class of 2019 on your hard work and successes thus far!
