The MICDS eighth-grade class ventured to the Saint Louis Zoo on Wednesday for the annual eighth-grade end-of-the-year field trip. Although the weather caused the trip to be shortened, the Class of 2028 still had a fun day of bonding as the senior Middle School community before they become Upper Schoolers in the fall!
“The students had fun getting off campus, seeing some animals, enjoying some food/beverages, and enjoyed just being together…so did the teachers!” expressed Jayme Zimmer, Middle School Visual Arts Teacher and Eighth-Grade Advisor. While exploring the Zoo and seeing the animals, students also participated in a scavenger hunt.
While the trip was brief, our eighth graders had a fun remainder of the school day, playing games in the library and laughing with one another. Check out some of the fun in the photo gallery below!
