The MICDS eighth-grade class ventured to the Saint Louis Zoo on Wednesday for the annual eighth-grade end-of-the-year field trip. Although the weather caused the trip to be shortened, the Class of 2028 still had a fun day of bonding as the senior Middle School community before they become Upper Schoolers in the fall!
« The students had fun getting off campus, seeing some animals, enjoying some food/beverages, and enjoyed just being together…so did the teachers! » expressed Jayme Zimmer, Middle School Visual Arts Teacher and Eighth-Grade Advisor. While exploring the Zoo and seeing the animals, students also participated in a scavenger hunt.
While the trip was brief, our eighth graders had a fun remainder of the school day, playing games in the library and laughing with one another. Check out some of the fun in the photo gallery below!
