Facuty and staff spent the first day back from spring break volunteering at seven agencies across St. Louis, including: Brightside-St. Louis, Project, Inc., Ferguson Food Pantry, University City Children’s Center, Cornerstone Center for Early Learning and the YWCA Warehouse. They worked in teams to sort food donations, complete landscape projects, interact with children and more. The Day of Caring is a longstanding tradition for faculty and staff, offering an opportunity to model the MICDS Mission of living lives of purpose and service.
