Dance Marathon and Best Buddies Put the “Fun” in Fundraisers

Two student organizations have been leaning well into our School’s Mission: “More than ever, our nation needs responsible men and women who can meet the challenges of this world with confidence and embrace all its people with compassion.” Both MICDS Dance Marathon and MICDS Best Buddies exhibited compassion while running recent fundraisers to support and help their respective causes.

MICDS Dance Marathon organized their first fundraiser at MOD Pizza in Ladue last week. Those who mentioned Dance Marathon with their order helped support the organization as it gets ready to dance the night away on Saturday, April 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Dance Marathon raises funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), which supports children’s hospitals across the country.

This week, MICDS Best Buddies held a fundraiser at Kendra Scott in the Frontenac Mall. Their goal is to send one of their co-heads to a leadership conference that will help support MICDS Best Buddies events for the duration of the year.

Thank you to all who showed support for these organizations recently and for the many philanthropic efforts of our compassionate students!
