Grab your sponge rollers, gray and white wigs, and plaid shirts—Senior Kindergarteners celebrated the 100th day of school in style on Monday, February 7. Per tradition, students and teachers alike dressed up as centenarians, donning glasses, fake wrinkles, ties, suspenders, and caps. They were a sight to behold when walking into the SK classrooms on Monday!
Besides dressing up, the milestone day was filled with other special reminders of the 100th day. SK students prepared for the 100th day of school by working at 100 themed centers. They played Race to 100, cup stacked with 100 cups, put together the 100 board, and came up with ways to make 100. Each student collected 100 items in a baggie to show their fellow classmates. They collected sequins, goldfish crackers, mini marshmallows, crayons, sprinkles, and Pokémon cards, to name a few. One activity that brought smiles to all of their faces was when they each aged 100 years using the Aging Booth app!
