Remove Learning for Upper School Students ONLY - January 29

Missouri-American Water needs to cut water to the Upper School campus on Wednesday, January 29, to permanently repair the water main leak that caused last Friday's early dismissal. Due to this repair work, Upper School students will have a remote, virtual learning day on Wednesday. Virtual learning will be implemented for Upper School students ONLY; our Lower and Middle School buildings will not be affected, and Lower and Middle School students are therefore expected to attend classes on campus as usual. Please see email for further details.

Hurricanes Harvey & Irma Relief Donation

In an effort to help those affected by the recent hurricanes in Texas and Florida, the MICDS community filled 160 backpacks with supplies that were delivered to the Red Cross and Salvation Army.

Our upper school and middle school also held a parking lot collection and dress down day respectively to benefit relief efforts. Thanks to your generosity, MICDS donated more than $2,200 to Direct Relief, which holds a 100% fundraising efficiency rating from Forbes, the No. 1 spot on Charity Navigator’s list of the “10 Best Charities Everyone’s Heard Of,” and inclusion in Fast Company’s list of “the world’s most innovative nonprofits.”

Thank you for your support!
