On Friday, January 18, the Messing Gallery in the Bryant Arts Center and the MICDS Fine Arts Department hosted the opening reception for painter Jack Hughes’ exhibit. His exhibit, « Putting Miles on the Brush, » is available through March 1 for your viewing pleasure. Hughes began painting during his retirement, and a large collection of his work throughout the years is on display.
Jack Hughes’ has many MICDS connections as a parent and grandparent of alumni. His son is Steve Hughes ’84, and his grandchildren are Cali Hughes ’17 and Elizabeth Hughes’18.
