Lower Schoolers got a special visit from the Karlovsky & Company Dance, a modern dance company, this week during their assembly. Dawn Karlovsky is the artistic director and choreographer, and our own Summer Beasley is a member of the company!
The dance company demonstrated different elements of dance including time, space and energy. Further, they showed how they incorporate those elements into a variety of dance techniques. The crew was accompanied by a musician playing the double bass.
