MICDS hosted an electronics recycling drive and bicycle collection on April 16 in partnership with Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) and St. Louis Bicycle Works. From microwaves to monitors and everything in between, the items recycled weighed more than 8,500 pounds and filled nine pallets.
In addition, St. Louis Bicycle Works received 34 bicycles that they can refurbish and “recycle” by providing them to children and adults who cannot afford to purchase a bicycle.
