If you’re looking for fun activities to do in St. Louis, our 2nd graders have some top recommendations!
Students in 2nd grade continued learning about the theme of community this week by studying St. Louis landmarks and why they are important to our city. They worked in groups to research favorite landmarks in the area and chose one landmark on which to present. Their task was to create an activity that was creative, informative and entertaining for someone visiting St. Louis.
Collectively, 2nd grade created the “Ultimate Kids Tour of St. Louis” which included the St. Louis Arch, Busch Stadium, Powell Hall, Forest Park (Science Center and Zoo), Ted Drewes and the Magic House. On Thursday morning, they presented to their client, the Convention & Visitors Commission of Explore St. Louis.
What a fun way to explore the city that these 2nd graders call home!
