The Ladue Fire Department made their annual visit to the Lower School this week to raise awareness of fire safety for Fire Prevention Month. This was their second visit this month after the first visit was interrupted by an emergency call to service in Ladue. They were able to make it back that day to enjoy lunch with the Beasley students.
During this week’s return visit, the Ladue Fire Department gave students a tour of a firetruck to get an up-close and personal look of where firefighters work day-to-day. The students listened intently as the firefighters explained what the different truck tools and gadgets did.
Thank you to the Ladue Fire Department for taking the time to teach our students the importance of fire safety!
