Remove Learning for Upper School Students ONLY - January 29

Missouri-American Water needs to cut water to the Upper School campus on Wednesday, January 29, to permanently repair the water main leak that caused last Friday's early dismissal. Due to this repair work, Upper School students will have a remote, virtual learning day on Wednesday. Virtual learning will be implemented for Upper School students ONLY; our Lower and Middle School buildings will not be affected, and Lower and Middle School students are therefore expected to attend classes on campus as usual. Please see email for further details.

MICDS Baseball Field Wins Award

The William O. DeWitt Field was named “Field of the Year” by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association (MHSBCA.) Coach Tim Canavan submitted pictures of the field, specifically featuring some of it’s newest renovations – the warning track, turf in the bullpens, and turf in the batting cage. Some of it’s existing features – bermuda grass in the outfield, the turf infield, and the scoreboard were already impressive – and surely swayed the judges’ decision.

“I am grateful to the MHSBCA for recognizing our field,” said Tim Canavan. “I also feel very fortunate to work with and for people who place a premium on giving student-athletes a high quality experience. The efforts of our administration, the donors, and our grounds crew have produced an unbelievable facility that we are lucky to play in everyday.”

Congratulations to MICDS athletics and the grounds crew for the impressive accomplishment!
