On Monday, January 15, MICDS turned out a packed crowd for Coaches vs. Cancer, also known as Paint it Pink. Coaches vs. Cancer is a beloved basketball tradition where players and fans alike wear pink, cheer on both the MICDS Girls and Boys Varsity teams as they play John Burroughs School (JBS), and funds from the game go to support the American Cancer Society St. Louis.
During the event, the Varsity Girls beat Burroughs 56-19, and the Boys won by a score of 52-45. Overall, the School raised $2,000 to support American Cancer Society St. Louis.
