The school community had a PAWS-itively outstanding Day of Giving (D.O.G.) on April 17. Donors helped the School reach – and exceed – its goal of 225 gifts, raising over $90,000 for the MICDS Fund.
During the morning carpool, student volunteers passed out D.O.G. bones and encouraged parents to donate to the MICDS Fund. Later in the day, dogs visited the Upper School and Middle School campus to further the D.O.G. theme and remind the community to #PawsForMICDS. Students also took time to show their gratitude to donors by writing thank you notes and designing thank you posters.
Of course, the MICDS campus pup, Ellie, was front and center and leading the charge for Day of Giving. She even put out her own video to find out more about the MICDS Fund!
From academics and faculty excellence to athletics and arts, and everything in between, donors UNLEASHED their Ram spirit and brought home a win for the children who attend MICDS. Look below to see the PAWesome results from our annual Day of Giving.
