Rams Named to St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Decade Teams
Congratulations #RamNation! Over the summer, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch published all-decade teams for high school athletics, and the names of MICDS Rams, past and present, were all over the lists.
Evan Erb '21 - All Decade Boys Tennis Second Team
A big Ram cheer for Evan Erb ’21 who was named to the All-Decade Boys Tennis Second Team by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. From the Post: “Erb won the Class 1 state singles championship as a freshman in 2018 and finished third in 2019. He helped the Rams to a second place team finish in 2019. Erb’s junior season was wiped out by the coronavirus pandemic.”
Julia Ray '23 - All-Decade Girls Cross Country Third Team
Congrats to Julia Ray ’23 for being named to the All-Decade Girls Cross Country Third Team by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. From the Post: “Ray’s Missouri Class 3 championship-winning time of 18:13.80 in November was area’s fastest 5-kilometer performance of the season by 17.1 seconds and also was the third-fastest of any runner in the state meet’s debut at Gans Creek Recreation Area, only slightly behind the top two Class 4 finishers. Behind Ray, MICDS won the team championship for the first time in program history. The freshman turned up for her state performance by winning the district meet, as well.”
