The most recent session of the Peer-to-Peer Mentor Program focused on the 8th to 9th grade transition. Upper School mentors gave sound and sage advice to their younger peers about making the transition from Middle to Upper School. They provided ideas on how to thrive in the academic environment and answered questions ranging from scheduling advice to time management techniques.
They had plenty of advice for outside-of-the-classroom too, from trying a new sport or club to building friendships. Eighth graders were engaged and hungry for the intel from their Upper School mentors, as many are starting to think about life in Upper School already. What a great resource to have available: the perspectives of students who recently went through this transition themselves!
