MICDS 11th graders in Photography 3 embarked on an art gallery walk in the Central West End last week. They visited Duane Reed Gallery, Charles Houska Gallery, Project + Gallery and Atrium Gallery. In addition to seeing a wide variety of contemporary art, students were able to interact with artist Ethan Meyer. They asked him questions about what it’s like to be a working artist and about his experience in the St. Louis art community. Several students supported local artists by purchasing original pieces at Duane Reed.
