For the third year in a row, we invited some of our most recent MICDS graduates back to campus to share insight and advice with seniors about their first year in college. During Enrichment on Thursday, the following alumni who are attending college in five different states, spoke on our panel:
- Atri Bhattacharyya ’18, Washington University (MO)
- Erica Jones ’18, Emerson College (MA)
- GeGe Pflager ’18, Colgate University (NY)
- Mollie Schmid ’18, Miami University (OH)
- Dillon Scott ’18, University of Miami (FL)
Yesterdays’ group touched on a variety of topics based on the questions from current students, including:
- How best to connect with professors in college
- Meeting new people and living with a roommate(s)
- Managing the academic workload in college
- Getting involved in student organizations
They also offered advice to seniors upon reflecting on their own college search experience from the year before. Thank you to our alumni for sharing their experiences as our current seniors get ready to embark on their very own college journeys!
