SK students continued celebrating Dr. Seuss this past week by reading many of his books and engaging in many Seuss-centric activities. The activities kicked off on February 15 with Hat Day, giving students the opportunity to wear their favorite hat to school. Each day was linked to a particular Dr. Seuss book – Hat Day in particular celebrated the book “Cat in the Hat.” Other days included Wacky Wednesday, Diffendoofer Day, Pocket Day, Crazy Socks Day, Color Day, Animal Day (Ellie the dog helped celebrate with the children,) Stuffed Animal Day, and finally Stripe Day. The final day of the Dr. Seuss celebration is on Friday, March 10.
