3 Rams Represent MICDS at Girls Golf State Tournament
Congratulations to Parker Perry ’20 who has earned all-state honors in the Class 1 State Girls Golf tournament! She finished in 5th place at the two-day tournament with a score of 165. Over her Upper School golf career, Perry earned a spot in the top 5 at state each year she participated.
Perry plans to play golf in college although she yet decided where she’d like to play and study. „[I] Wish her the best adapting to independent living, adapting to college life and hopefully excelling on her college golf team,” shares Head Girls Golf Coach Steve Johnston.
Two other Rams on the course at state were Garrett Goltermann ’20 and Katie Mikulec ’22. Goltermann placed 16th and Mikulec earned 22nd place.

Morgan Highlighted as Outstanding Local Teacher
On pages 16 and 17 of a recent edition of Town and Style, our very own Stacey Morgan, Head Athletic Trainer and Upper School Science Teacher, was featured as an Outstanding Local Teacher. The article focuses on Ms. Morgan’s kinesiology class and how students are building robotic hands that are sent to e-NABLE, an organization that provides free prosthetic limbs to people in need. Morgan also teaches sports medicine, anatomy and physiology, and she earned 2nd place in the spring for the Saint Louis Science Center’s Loeb Prize for Excellence in Teaching Science and Mathematics.
