Katie Flemming ’19 launched her nonprofit, Katie’s Books for Kids, last fall with the mission to donate one new or gently used book for every pediatric patient in Children’s Hospitals across the country. To date, Katie has collected and donated over 2,106 books! Governor Greitens recently recognized Katie for her leadership and compassion with an autographed copy of one of his own books. Katie will also release an original song, “Hero”, in November and a portion of the proceeds will go to her charity. If you would like to donate your used children’s books, please email kflemming2@gmail.com. For more information, visit the Katie’s Books for Kids Facebook page.

Remove Learning for Upper School Students ONLY - January 29
Missouri-American Water needs to cut water to the Upper School campus on Wednesday, January 29, to permanently repair the water main leak that caused last Friday's early dismissal. Due to this repair work, Upper School students will have a remote, virtual learning day on Wednesday. Virtual learning will be implemented for Upper School students ONLY; our Lower and Middle School buildings will not be affected, and Lower and Middle School students are therefore expected to attend classes on campus as usual. Please see email for further details.
