Jacqueline Zoeller ’18 was chosen to represent MICDS as a 2018 Post-Dispatch Scholar Athlete. In her time as a student, Jacqueline has participated in Track and Field; Lacrosse, where she was a member of the State Championship team in 2017 and the runner-up team in 2016; Cross Country, where she was the Team Captain in 2017 and a State qualifier in 2016. Sam Hanser ’19 was the individual tournament winner of the Boys Varsity Golf District Championships, leading his team to a Districts win and Sectional berth. He shot a 75 with 15 straight pars, holes 4-18. Read the full story here.

Last fall, Sam Lustgarten ’22 set a goal to complete a RunDisney Challenge, and the good news is that he has succeeded! Last weekend, he ran 22.4 miles at the “2018 Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon Weekend.” This involved a 5K on Friday, 10K on Saturday and a Half Marathon on Sunday. He also participated in the RunDisney Charity program and raised $395 for the Teaching and Learning Collaborative, a charity that supports K-12 STEM education and teacher development.
Laurel Potter ’24 recently returned from Hong Kong, where she played ice hockey with her team. During her trip, Laurel was also excited to receive a text from the St. Louis Blues wishing her and her team good luck in competition!
