Senior Announced on Brown University's Water Polo Team
On Tuesday, Brown University announced its new members to their Men’s Water Polo team. Filip Aleksic ’20 is one of just six new members on the team. Aleksic was Missouri’s top goal scorer in the 2018-19 season with over 150 goals and he has many accolades in the sport, including bein named the Missouri Player of the Year in the 18-19 season and earning the MVP award at the “Keep Cup” tournament in Serbia in 2018.
Read why he chose Brown University for his next step after MICDS: “I chose Brown mainly because of the academic rigor and the opportunity to play water polo. I am confident that the open curriculum will allow me to forge my own path and do the things that I am passionate about, while being surrounded by ardent people. In addition, I believe that the water polo team will be a great fit for me, since the team’s values align to those that I live by.” We can’t wait to cheer you on at the college level, Filip!
