Senior Runs like the Wind, Setting New School Record

At last week’s Arcadia Invitational Track & Field Meet, Grace Coppel ’25 ran a new school record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.07! This beats her own previous school record of 2:15.36 set at the Sectional Meet on May 11, 2024. Way to run like the wind, Grace!

 

Two Seniors Officially Appointed to the United States Air Force Academy

Lieutenant Daniel Solis-Noguera formally presented Jacob Daus ’25 and Bowen Zhao ’25 with their letters of appointment to the United States Air Force Academy during an Upper School Assembly on Tuesday, April 15. Congratulations, Jacob and Bowen! The Rams community is so proud of you.

Freshman Part of St. Louis American Girls "Fab Five" All-Stars List

Basketball star Jordyn Haywood ’28 was declared a First Team member of The St. Louis American Girls „Fab Five“ All-Stars. She helped take the Rams to the Final Four for the first time in close to a decade, averaging 21.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 steals while blocking 43 blocks. Also, she is The St. Louis American Freshman of the Year. Way to go, Jordyn!

 

Boys Tennis Earns Top Spots in Metro League Tournament

Congratulations to Owen Kizer ’26 who earned the No. 1 singles championship on Monday, April 14 in the Metro League Tournament. Read the recap of the contest as summarized by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. On the way to becoming the singles champion, Owen defeated last year’s Class 2 individual champion and the second-place finisher in Class 3 singles. Congratulations also to Jai Patel ’25, who won the top No. 2 singles spot, and to Arjun Puri ’25, who captured the No. 3 singles title.

250 Wins for Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach Andy Kay

Congratulations to MICDS Boys Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach Andy Kay on his 250th win! The Rams defeated DeSmet on the road Wednesday night, 16-5, and that victory marked Coach Kay’s milestone win! Go Rams and go Coach Kay!
