Boys & Girls Varsity Squash Upset Top Seeds at High School Nationals
The Boys and Girls Varsity Squash teams recently traveled to Philadelphia for the High School Squash Nationals. Both teams showed up with strong starts in the Round of 16. In the Boys Division V, the #16 seed MICDS upset the #1 seed CitySquash MACS 4-3. In the Girls Division IV, #13 seed MICDS defeated the #4 seed in a back and forth thriller. These big upsets fueled 5-2 and 4-3 victories by the boys and girls, respectively, advancing them to their divisional semifinals. Despite both teams falling in the semifinal matchups and third-place games, they returned determined that this year’s competition sets the stage for future victories. Great work on the courts, Rams!
