Due to a water main break north of campus, we are dismissing Upper School students early today. This early dismissal affects Upper School students only. If your student cannot drive themselves, please plan to pick them up immediately.

Athletics & After-School Updates - January 24

Please note the following athletics and activities updates: - Upper School Basketball games have been relocated to John Burroughs School this afternoon/evening. Times stay as scheduled. - The Upper School Wrestling tournament in the MAC will proceed as scheduled. - Upper School Squash in the MAC will proceed as scheduled. - All other Upper School sports practices and events, including Swimming, are canceled. - Lower and Middle School after-school activities will proceed as planned. Two Rams Represented MICDS at ACS All-Star Game

Davis Schukar ’24 and Jeremiah Clay ’24 were proud participants at the American Cancer Society All-Star Game! They represented MICDS well and Schukar was recognized as the leading fundraiser with over $3,500 raised through the ACS game. Way to support a really important cause!

Senior Ranks for 89 MPH Fastball in Baseball

Henry Cordes ’24 is listed as number 6 in Prep Baseball Report’s Missouri Best of 2023 listing for the max fastball. His fastball clocks in at 89 mph. Go, Henry!

Li Earns Spot on 2023 All-Metro Girls Tennis Team

Congratulations to Rachel Li ’24 who made the 2023 All-Metro Girls Tennis Team! She won the Class 2 singles championship in Girls Tennis. She plans to play tennis at Carnegie Mellon.

A Victory in Boys Basketball

The MICDS Boys Basketball team defeated Marquette 65 to 55 at the Southern Illinois Classic Shootout at McKendree’s Statham Sports Center in Lebanon. Brandon Clemens ’26 led in points scoring 27. Read the quick recap of the game here!

Double Wins in Middle School Basketball

Both of our 8th-Grade Girls and Boys Basketball teams won the North County Christian Middle School Basketball Tournament. Way to go, Rams!
