Students Selected for St. Louis Artists' Guild Art Show

There were over 400 pieces submitted for the St. Louis Artists’ Guild Young Artists Showcase 2025, making the selection process highly competitive. The guild reports, «There were lots of great submissions for the Young Artists Showcase, making the selection process extremely difficult.»

Cai '27 Receives Honorable Mentions in Scholastic Art & Writing Competition

Congratulations to Catherine Cai ’27 for receiving two Honorable Mentions in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Competition. Her letter from the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers states, «Your works were recognized by a panel of creative professionals for their outstanding merit in originality, skill, and the emergence of your personal voice and vision. Since 1923, the Awards have recognized some of the nation’s most celebrated artists and writers while they were teenagers, including Tschabalala Self, Stephen King, Kay WalkingStick, José Parlá, Amanda Gorman, Charles White, Joyce Carol Oates, and Andy Warhol. We are proud to count you among these esteemed Scholastic Awards alumni! We wish you continued success in your creative endeavors.
