Junior Earns Honorable Mention at Piano Solo Competition
Hannah Wang ’26 won Honorable Mention (3rd place) in the Eleventh-Grade Piano Solo Competition held by the Missouri Music Teachers Association (MMTA). The state-level competition was held at the University of Missouri–Columbia on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Way to go, Hannah!
Fifth-Grade Ram Gets to be Ball Girl at KU Game
On Friday, November 8, Genny Molamphy ’32 was a ball girl for the University of Kansas Men’s Basketball Team. The game was ranked #1 KU versus ranked #9 North Carolina in Lawrence, Kansas which ended with KU winning 92-89. Genny got to watch the teams warm up before the game, watch the game courtside, and help the team managers. At TV timeouts, she was out on the court making sure it was ready for some competitive action since both teams were highly ranked. How exciting, Genny!
Girls and Boys Cross Country State Finishes
In Girls Cross Country State Championship action, Frances Applegate ’27 finished 19:48.1 and Elise Tourais ’28 finished 20:10.7, medaling at State with eighth- and ninth-place, respectively! Narya Phatak ’26, Abby Walsh ’28, Carrie Clennan ’26, and Maitland Michaelson ’27 helped the Rams place seventh overall as team!
Grace Coppel ’25 ran the fifth-fastest time in School history in the 5000M run with a time of 19:10.68 and Elise ran the ninth-fastest time in School history in the 5000M run with a time of 19:52.00 earlier this season.
MICDS Football Advances to District Finals
The MICDS Football team is advancing to the District Finals this week against Hazelwood East after their 48-14 victory over Chaminade last Friday. Check out a mini video recap by KSDK of some of the game’s highlights. Go Rams!
