Scoring a Racket Sponsorship
Nia Cooper ’23 attended a two-week training camp at the prestigious IMG Academy to prepare for the Eddie Herr International Tennis Championship. It was truly an amazing experience for her. Because of her performance during practices and match play, she received a racket sponsorship with Dunlop in addition to her current USTA ranking.
Nia made it through to the third round of the qualifiers. She applied what she learned from the camp which made a difference in her style of play. “We are so proud of Nia and know that with her dedication and determination, she will accomplish her long-term goals,” her family shared.
Nia also got to meet one of her favorite tennis players, Victoria Azarenka.
