Sustainable Futures Club Helps Prep Vulture Exhibit

By Kareena Kanumury ’23

Last weekend on October 22, 2022, the MICDS Sustainable Futures Club volunteered at the World Bird Sanctuary and helped with the new Vulture Exhibition that will be opening soon. On the way to the exhibit, we saw many cool and interesting birds, from emus to bald eagles. The 12 of us worked hard to cover the two exhibits and some surrounding areas with topsoil for the birds to inhabit. From shoveling to raking, we ultimately helped establish a new home to welcome the new vultures!
