Students learn about disaster preparedness in Teen CERT

Students Participate in Teen CERT Training

MICDS students participated in Teen CERT, a national training program for teens who would like to volunteer to help during a local disaster. Over the course of two weekends, students were educated about disaster preparedness and trained in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
