Remove Learning for Upper School Students ONLY - January 29

Missouri-American Water needs to cut water to the Upper School campus on Wednesday, January 29, to permanently repair the water main leak that caused last Friday's early dismissal. Due to this repair work, Upper School students will have a remote, virtual learning day on Wednesday. Virtual learning will be implemented for Upper School students ONLY; our Lower and Middle School buildings will not be affected, and Lower and Middle School students are therefore expected to attend classes on campus as usual. Please see email for further details.

Two Rising Stars Make Early Division I Commitments

We are excited to announce the early commitments of two talented senior student-athletes to collegiate field hockey and baseball programs. They enjoyed signing their early letters of intent at an event this week preceding a larger event in February that includes additional student-athletes committing to colleges.

Director of Athletics Josh Smith shared, “It’s a truly special day for these two athletes in the Class of 2024 who are signing national letters of intent accepting scholarships to play their sport collegiately. They represent less than two percent of seniors nationwide who are signing today. It marks their hard work and passion for their sport, and it’s a remarkable achievement and a well-earned honor.”

Matt Essman, Director of College Counseling, added, “Today marks the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work and success, both in the classroom and on the playing field, for these two outstanding student-athletes. We are confident that they will be wonderful representatives of MICDS as they take their talents to the collegiate level.”

Below are the students who participated in the early signing opportunity. Congratulations to these MICDS student-athletes who are leveling up in their chosen sport. Best of luck on your next athletic journey!
