Donovan ’18 Makes School History on American Invitational Math Examination
Alex Donovan’s score on the American Math Competition exam earned him an invitation to take the next level, the AIME (American Invitational Math Examination) in March. His score on that exam, combined with his AMC10 score, earned him an invitation to take the USA (J)MO exam (USA Junior Math Olympiad) on April 28 and 29 for a total of 9 HOURS OF TESTING! This is an exciting achievement for Alex and noteworthy for MICDS – it is the first time in school history that a student has advanced this far in this competition. Congratulations and good luck, Alex!
