According to Upper School Fine Arts Teacher Denise Douglas, one of the requirements in the Upper School Photo 3 curriculum is for students to enter their work into at least one local show/exhibit. To our delight, several students were admitted into the Emerson Young Artists’ Showcase, a juried exhibit at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild. The showcase is an all-media exhibition of artwork created by high school students between the ages of 15 and 19 and residing within 150 miles of St. Louis.
The online exhibit features work from Hallie Dufner ’22, Paige Hayes ’22, Colton Nappier ’22, Isabel Quiroga ’22, Divya Singh ’21, and Raygan McDile ’22–who also received an Honorable Mention award. Way to go, young MICDS artists!
